Sarah and Dary got married in Canmore just last month. What a day this was! We pretty much had it all: rain, wind, and then out of nowhere, the sun finally made an appearance! We only broke one umbrella! The great news was that Sarah and Dary were up for anything. Let’s just say that when the wedding party is a great bunch, this really makes up for the bad weather…. and a fun bunch, that they were!
If you don’t know Sarah and Dary, stop here first to check out their amazing engagement photos. Their beautiful connection got me the best photography award.
Sarah and Dary, congratulations to you both! What an amazing couple you are!

This awesome photo of the boys, below, was taken before the ceremony by my 2nd photographer for the day, who is also my very good friend, Virginia Booth. Thanks V.!

The ceremony was beautiful and emotional.

I was actually told to “not” take photos during the vows by the church organizer (not the priest)… but seeing as I knew how easy-going the priest was (best priest I have ever met by the way!), I decided to keep on shooting. Am I glad I did? You betcha. The emotion, the feel, the look of these photos at that specific moment, below, would have been forgotten right after the ceremony. Not anymore…

Married!

Rain + wind = romantic umbrella shots…

Some PG13…

Below, the very cool wedding party who braved the rain, wind, and cold, just so that Sarah and Dary could have some cool photos of them! Don’t they look great?

… the sun felt much better though!

… Jumping right into the reception… this blog-post is not getting any shorter
